Having received and reviewed your report the next steps are deciding what actions to take, and then winning commitment to them from within your organisation. In some cases this can be relatively straightforward, in which case our input may be small. In others it is far from straightforward and clients seek our advice and support.
In gaining commitment to a way forward the first step is reflection. This may sound like a passive process, but it is not. It involves discussing the feedback with colleagues, before deciding on strategies for action. It is important to assess how the findings fit with your business strategy. You will want to think through variations between departments, sites or regions. You may need to delve further into specific issues.
You will need to weigh up the options available to you, choose your priorities to work on and then decide how to communicate the results and the actions that you want to take.
This commitment needs to be achieved meticulously but with some urgency, otherwise the momentum can be lost. Throughout this process we are on hand to advise, facilitate and provide further research if required.
